Maker of the Month - March - Joey Salamon

JOEY SALAMON

Meet March’s Maker of the Month, Detroit-based artist, Joey Salamon. His visually electric geometric art can be seen on projects ranging from album covers to larger-than-life street murals to restaurant interior design. We’re excited to see his creative vision applied to our project too.

Joey was inspired by the mid-century modern mecca of Midland, MI where he grew up. After graduating from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art & Design in 2010, Joey expanded his artistic vision living in places like the tiny Hawaiian island of Molokai, Chicago, and Miami. He then returned to the Midwest and is making Detroit his home.
