Blue Hawaiian
In 1957, the famous Honolulu bartender Howard Yee was challenged to make a cocktail using Blue Curaçao, a Caribbean Liqueur owing its blueness to the dried peel of the Laraha fruit. After much experimentation, Howard landed on a cocktail he called Blue Hawaii. Here, we give you the Blue Hawaiian, which has coconut cream added to the original recipe. Give them both a try and don’t forget the umbrella!
